“The cottages are well-appointed and set within an attractive vineyard setting. It is very remote and getting a taxi can be challenging and expensive. The facility has a bistro that is effectively of no use to guests as it closes, like reception and everything else @ 5.00 PM. Even breakfast has to be pre-orderedand delivered into your fridge the night before. Seems like the whole place is set-up for the owners and staff not guests. Particularly as there is nothing else around in less than 20...

“The property is beautiful! However, if you are touring NZ during the day, you will miss using all of the amenities. The coffee store opens at 10. Breakfast is served starting at 8 am. Cheese shop and wine bar close at 6. We missed it all! This is a spa destination for New Zealanders, not a place for tourists.”
