The BMI is an older building. The linens were very clean and nice. The beds and pillows were cozy. The air conditioner kept the room at comfortable temperature on a hot evening. Having the restaurant downstairs was an added bonus. The food was good, and we had supper and breakfast in the restaurant. If you want an economical place to stay, this is your place. I would stay here again.

The Barrier Motor Inn is priced right for the budget traveller. The room was small but comfortable. The bar and restaurant on site offered tasty food at reasonable prices. Its convenient to the main highway. Id stay again.

This is a budget hotel, BUT,, the staff is awesome and it has a restaurant and bar attached with good pricing and quality food. Room doors are old style key lock and rooms are nostalgic, but it is clean and surprisingly quiet. Would stay again.

The bed was acceptable, and the walls appeared reasonably clean; however, several issues significantly affected the quality of our stay. The room lacked basic amenities, including chairs, a coffee maker, and cups for drinking water. Electrical access was also inadequate, with only one usable half of a duplex receptacle near the baseboard in the corner, while the other half powered an aging window air conditioner that screeched intermittently and kept us awake throughout the night. Lighting was limited to a single ceiling fixture controlled from the entrance door, and there were no lamps in the room. The curtain around the air conditioner had been cut so short that outdoor street lighting shone directly into the bed area, and the entry door did not have a proper jamb to block hallway light. The TV did not work and did not appear to be connected to a functioning cable box. The shower curtain was visibly dirty, and only one face cloth was provided for two guests. Overall, the room fell well below reasonable expectations for comfort, cleanliness, and basic functionality.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, The room wasnt fancy but clean and the restaurant has awesome food. I had the Pizza for supper as well as had their breakfast and both were great food served by fabulous servers.
