The entire vibe was so weighing and cozy. I haven't slept that good in years and I usually struggle to sleep on vacation. It was the perfect distance from everything we wanted to enjoy on our trip.

Wish we were there for more than one night. This place is so …….. where u just want to melt away and relax. We had to leave a message because couldn’t get into my email to get check in info. We got a call back right away and the info sent to my sons phone. Really after the day we had, the fact we were able to hear from someone right away was my saving grace. We will be back but for longer next time

What a beautiful little spot in the world!!! This little spot is surrounded by nature. Seed Lake, Lake Burton, and Lake Rabun are all within a few minutes of this lodge. There's great little mom and pop restaurants in the area. My favorite is Glenn Ella. There's an abundance of waterfalls within a short drive. Minihaha, my favorite waterfall, with a short walk and accessible water, is right by this lodge. The room was super cute and uniquely decorated. The ambiance is calm. Ive already.made plan to return next month.

We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough

A very enjoyable, three nights stay in this quiet mountain retreat. Our accommodations in room number one were spacious, cozy, with all the necessary amenities (like a full kitchen and soft pillow top king size bed), and thoughtfully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay here at the North 40 Lodge. Our cabin was clean and very cozy. It is set in a very peaceful location too. It was nice to sit out on the front porch in the rocking chairs just relaxing in nature. I loved there was a parking spot right up front with made unloading and loading very easy! The staff was so helpful, understanding and accommodating. I communicated through text and they got back to me ASAP. The bed was very comfortable, all the fixtures were modern and updated and the shower was nice and hot! We couldn’t be happier with our stay! Thank you so much, we will 100% be back again!

It was easy to find, but really works was expecting a little more land not right off a busy road. There was a sprinkler just to the left of the rock sidewalk, which could’ve been very dangerous if somebody would’ve stepped off and stepped on it and the hose was laying across the stone path That could’ve been moved to make it very clear for people coming in with luggage. It was very beautiful inside and we appreciate being able to contact someone about how to watch TV. The microwave was very confusing not very comfortable having to bend over or squat down to use. It wished it would’ve been up on the top But bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very pretty and clean. All lines were clean. I know it was a beautiful place and peaceful thank you

We were very impressed with the accommodations. The furniture, decor, kitchen was well equipped for a weekend getaway. The suite was perfect for 2 people and our teen slept on the couch, but ended up in the massive king bed alongside us the second night. The Lodge is a cool area for recreating and the bar (opening soon) was a hip little addition—LOVE the ceiling. We enjoyed eating on the back patio in the evening and we even had a visit from a black bear while sitting just outside the back door one evening. It made it’s way to the neighbors quickly. We had dinner in town at Frida’s, lunch at Angel’s Cafe, drinks at the open bar (family friendly) next door to Frida’s along with shopping the boutiques. Took a dip at the cove on Lake Burton which was very refreshing on a warm day. Meeting the owners we learned about what was coming soon:opening the bar, restaurant and adding fun additions to the lodge for camping/glamping. Would be a great family getaway spot or even a business getaway.

This place has it all. Clean comfortable lodging. The cabin was well equipped with everything you would need for a few nights stay. The owner was available in case you needed something. And of course, the most important part was security kitty. Easy to get to Helen, Clayton, and downtown Clarkesville from the cabin location. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
