If I could give them 6 stars I would! If you are looking for a storybook Cotswalds experience - you've found it. Picture perfect tiny town. The Castle Inn was adorable - charming historic hotel, great bar and restaurant. Our bathroom was large and had a good sized tub with divine toiletries. The area was so quiet at night. The parking they share with their sister location next door makes it so convenient. The town consists of a pub, these two hotels (their sister property has a golf course), a church, a tea shop takeaway and a coffee shop, but so, so quaint! I would love to visit again!

Cute hotel in the heart of this beautiful town. Greeted by a very nice woman upon arrival and helped with my bags. Wish there had been a refrigerator but understand it’s an incredibly old building. Staff were great at dinner!

Castle Combe is a town out of a movie scene. It’s a must see. This hotel is a small operation but our room was huge with the largest bed ever in a hotel and a very comfortable bathroom as well (Room 12). We loved staying here so much we wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was amazing and quickly prepared.

Large clean room looking at the church. Once the day visitors leave the town is quiet and peaceful. Plenty to see and do with some amazing local hikes.

Although I upgraded to a Superior room, I would night want to stay there for more than two nights as there was hardly any draw space for one person let alone two. The staff where very helpful throughout the stay and during dinner service but while having pre-dinner drinks the waitress drop the tray of drinks on me which left me soaked (lucky enough only my jeans) and apart from an apology there was no offer of a compensatory drink.

Extremely comfortable bedroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Powerful shower and very hot water but shower screen was not very clean. Dinner was rather disappointing and quite expensive. A lovely location.

We had a great stay in the Castle Inn. Right in the middle of a cute little village of Castle Combe. Our room was great and the staff were all very friendly. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, but thats a minor issue. The parking was a little strange too because you have to drive all the way around to the Manor House parking lot, the walk through the gate back to the Castle Inn and on our second day, they were blocking people from getting to the parking because of some event going on at the Manor House, but we still really enjoyed the whole experience of staying here. The food was good on site, as well and you can also chose to eat at the Manor House, though we didnt during our stay.

Like living in the Cotswolds

One of only two places to stay in a really charming old England town. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. It is an old building, so no elevator and tight hallways. Mostly great service although a couple of the male workers seemed a bit snobish when we had not made reservations for dinner. There are only a couple of places to eat so if that is a big concern, make sure you have a reservation. We still managed to eat at a pub across the street and at the sister location, the Manor. If you’re visiting the Cotswolds, don’t miss Castlecombe.

Beautiful village, amazing property and grounds are connected. The staff is bright, super helpful, and delightful. Breakfast was lovely, and the Michelin Star restaurant in walking distance will forever be remembered! We ubered to rent a car to drive about other sites in the Cotswolds. We highly recommend this brilliant b and b!!!

We happened to be there during an epic heat wave and one thing I hadn’t considered was lack of AC. There was a fan in the room but the windows didn’t fully open so it was a bit miserable. Not the hotels fault - but def something to consider if you’ll be staying here over the summer months.

Charming place, great staff. Age of the facility, no elevators can make it difficult to access with large luggage, especially for older travelers.
