The property is under a well needed reno! The room was cozy, beds were very comfortable. The carpet was extremely dirty tho.. The staff were ALL very accommodating, polite & helpful! Breakfast was perfect. Especially liked the location, it was walking distance to restaurants the lake as well as the mineral pool! We were very happy with our two night stay! We would definitely stay again!

Highly wouldn’t recommend staying here. Our room was SO hot, talked to other guests in the hotel and they said the same thing. Hotel is old, very ran down and our room wasn’t very clean. Good location, staff was friendly. Wouldn’t stay there again.

We were travelling across Canada and stayed one night at this hotel. It was clean, a central location and provided everything we needed... which was a place to stay one night and in the morning we drove on. For our needs, it was great. They are spending money and improving the hotel. It's not perfect yet but they are headed in the right direction. You're just steps from the main part of town and beach... this is a beach town, with nice (slightly expensive) restaurants, lots of beach things to do... it's a great location.

In renovation, very old, with random furnishings (e.g. mini fridge without shelving). Lots of unfinished things (e.g. no baseboards, door numbers were pieces of paper taped on door...etc.) Cleaners were helpful but front desk was not. Best thing is that the AC worked well and the hotel was across the street from the beach and playground.

This hotel was in a great location - just a few minutes to the beautiful lake and nearby coffee shops and restaurants! The price was excellent - much more affordable than any other hotel during the long weekend. Two areas for improvement: general upkeep and cleanliness. Overall, it was a good choice!

When we arrived it was noticeable the hotel is under renovations. This was not mentioned in write-up of hotel. When we arrived to our room it did not resemble the pictures advertised at all. No amenities were open during our stay. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the misrepresentation of hotel room quality was very disappointing and not worth the $200 a night we paid.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The front desk staff, both in the evening and in the morning, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The location is perfect right in the center of everything, and only a 2-minute walk to the beach. The room was spacious, very quiet at night, and extremely clean. The building is older, but it is very well maintained and had everything we needed. It was peaceful with no noise at all, which made our stay even more relaxing. Perfect for families and couples. I would definitely stay here again!

The building is in shambles....the staff were very nice and overworked it seemed, it was clean to as good as a falling apart hotel could be. Lots of potential in the building but needs millions in repairs if that gives a good picture. But it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Bed was clean and comfortable otherwise I'm not sure I could have stayed.

The Harrison lake hotel is in the process of being renovate, and one day it may return to its former glory. The staff specially Rakil and Rehan are very helpful and kind and quick to respond to my requests: remote control not working, room too cold ( they brought a heater), night table not working ( brought a new bulb), they provided a courtesy pass for the use of the Harrison hotel pools and breakfast. All in all, I would go back because the service is good and I am a senior woman on my own.

The hotel was just ok. The property could do with upgrading the hall carpets and maintaining the courtyard. The koi pond was absoutley disgusting and you could not see through the dark green water. I'm not sure how the poor fish were surviving. Our bedroom was not as bad. It looked like they had recently painted but didn't bother to remove the painters tape. Our smoke detector was also hanging from the ceiling from the wires. The floors, bedding and washroom were clean though. This hotel has so much potential. Overall, the experience reflected the lower price paid and at the end of the day, we were there for the beach and scenery and I probably would stay there again.

The lobby looked very nice but that changed when we got to our room- first room had a black hair in the bed, the cover for the fan in the bathroom was missing and it sounded like a jet plane, the carpet was dirty and wet in spots and the tv did not work. Requested to change rooms, which they did without question... second room was marginally cleaner but the whole hotel is very run down and in need of repairs- wallpaper peeling off the walls, floors in the elevators are worn out, windows in the room don't open properly and the courtyard is a filthy mess- water in the pond is dk green with algae. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone and although the price was reasonable, it was not worth the money. Location is convenient to the downtown area but that's all it has going for it. Very disappointed
