“There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace.”

“The staff were quite helpful, however the property maintenance did let them down. The curtains in the bedroom fell off when pulling them and there was a leak from the bath when the shower was on. The lift wasn’t working for our whole stay. The rooms weren’t cleaned very well as we found a lighter on the floor and a take away carton of sauce half eaten. Tea bags and milk were not replenished when the room was being cleaned. Although breakfast was advertised we were told on our second day,...
