The Drake Hotel is a wonderful Chicago landmark with timeless elegance, beautiful architecture, and exceptional service. Its location on Michigan Avenue is outstanding, placing guests close to the lakefront, shopping, restaurants, and many of the city’s best attractions. The rooms are comfortable and full of historic charm, and the hotel’s public spaces feel grand and inviting. We had a wonderful stay at The Drake Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—convenient to everything while still feeling elegant and special. The staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and helpful, always going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel has a wonderful sense of history and charm, and the service made the experience even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

This hotel is 106 years old, expect the musty smell. The A/c kept us up all night, every time it would click on it made some kind of rattling noise like paper was stuck in the vent. If you don’t mind some inconveniences and want to be downtown for a reasonable price, this is a good place to stay. The staff are friendly and there’s history here, literally.

The Drake is a wonderful hotel. Staff were nice. The tub in the room next to us overflowed and flooded into our room. The smell of old cigarettes as very strong. And having to listen to fans was annoying. We were told we’d get a partial refund that they did put on our credit card but was then taken back by the hotel. ???
