they provide free water bottles and is located near a nice shopping area, all within 10-15 minute walk of major sightseeing and tourist spots. the room was comfortable and spacious i definitely would stay here again if i come by chicago again

Great location, helpful staff, very clean and quaint. It is an older property in a bursting area. The price was on the higher side but it is Chicago. Room was small, but had everything we needed. Very nice bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows but not much space in room outside of that. Spent one night in town for a hotel with my wife and was a great experience overall.

The breakfast in the lobby was fantastic. The staff were helpful and incredibly nice. The martini bar made even better drinks. The hotel maintains a gothic and historic charm. Also apparently it used to be a playboy hotel in the 1970s. The bartender was familiar with the hotel history, had a great time here. Great location too.
