Truly an excellent stay. I booked without much knowledge of where to stay in Chiang Mai, but relied on the good reviews. My stay lived up to the reviews. The place itself is stunning. I felt safe there as a solo female traveller as well. The staff were helpful. The bathroom in my room was well kept and so beautiful. The bedroom was spacious. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The striking aspect of this boutique hotel is the traditional Thai feel that it provides from the time one steps into the hotel. You will love the hotel if you appreciate the cultural aspect. Apart from that the staff was super helpful and attentive. Rooms were clean and well provided for.

This hotel is soooo authentic and cute! The rooms are soo spacious and beautiful, we had a king suite with a tub and pool view with a deck and it was awesome. The pool area is also so cute and everything is pretty much walking distance! I would stay again and recommend to anyone visiting chiang mai.

Overall the hotel was central and decent for the price. The breakfast was great. I will say I did not love the early check in rules, 1000 baht per hour for early check-in should’ve just done an extra night and it would’ve been cheaper. The kids at the hotel were very loud and not well behaved basically disturbed everyone at the pool.

What an amazing hotel! The rooms are spacious with a traditional feel. Their breakfast is fantastic and yummy. The service that the staff provide there is accommodating and thoughtful. I really enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend anyone to stay there. I will definitely come back!

Lovely stay. Nice little hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms and decor is beautiful. Went in low season/September so very reasonable rates. Breakfast included and had a good small selection. Only negative for me was all the rain meant there was heavy leaking from the ceiling at the door. Would stay again.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and very attentive throughout the stay. The breakfast buffet was very good and fresh. The hotel pool was enjoyable in the heat and humidity and relaxing. We loved our stay at the Pingviman Hotel in the old town area of Chiang Mai. This was the first hotel we stayed in and it was a beautiful, smaller, boutique style hotel with traditional Thai elements with lots of wood and antique furniture. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the main area with all the restaurants but we love walking so that was perfect for us. We loved the staff. They were very kind and helpful and the rooms were huge and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was smaller than we anticipated but had enough options for everyone. My youngest loved the Thai tea from the coffee and tea maker. We would definitely stay here if we are ever in Chiang Mai again.

Recommended hotel

The room and hotel was really nice. Breakfast was good. Only issue was the bathroom light over the sink was burned out. After telling the front desk, 3 days later, not fixed. Great location to shopping, restaurants and more.
