The Moxy is a beautifully well kept and friendly hotel, the beds are comfortable and the bedding smelt clean. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The price was extremely comparable too.

Great hotel, especially for the summer with the a/c. Great location on the canal and a grocery store right next door. Unfortunately no fridge in room and the breakfast was very expensive, but there was free teas and coffee. Great spaces for hanging out for a break in the day.

First time staying at Moxy Chester and we will definitely be back. Great location on the canal and literally minutes away from lots of bars and restaurants. The complimentary coffee machine down in the bar is a great touch. The room was modern, stylish and very clean with great toiletries included along with hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities etc The rooms are not very sound proofed so if you want to head up to bed early just be prepared for very loud music until midnight when it then stops. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice from pastries, cheeses, fruit, sliced meat, cereals and of course a full English cooked selection which was amazing! Only complaint...no black pudding. This hotel is an excellent choice if you're travelling with a dog. Moxy will be our first choice now whenever we stay over in Chester. FIVE STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great family hotel. We had a minor issue with a stain in our room on check‑in, but staff sorted it straight away. The place is clean, the team is friendly, and the kids loved the play corner and the games floor with pool and an arcade machine. It’s about a 15‑minute walk to the centre, with charming bars and cafés along the canal. Only a 15 minute drive to Chester zoo. Would happily stay again.
