The Moxy is a beautifully well kept and friendly hotel, the beds are comfortable and the bedding smelt clean. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The price was extremely comparable too.

Great hotel, especially for the summer with the a/c. Great location on the canal and a grocery store right next door. Unfortunately no fridge in room and the breakfast was very expensive, but there was free teas and coffee. Great spaces for hanging out for a break in the day.

Great family hotel. We had a minor issue with a stain in our room on check‑in, but staff sorted it straight away. The place is clean, the team is friendly, and the kids loved the play corner and the games floor with pool and an arcade machine. It’s about a 15‑minute walk to the centre, with charming bars and cafés along the canal. Only a 15 minute drive to Chester zoo. Would happily stay again.

We enjoy The Moxy as a modern chain that has some fun quirky elements. The staff who check you in, serve you drinks and help with breakfast. The place is vibrant and entertaining and we slept well in the good size room, straight forward amenities and a small but great bathroom and good shower. They make breakfast a great combo of continental and hot and grab- a-coffee was welcome. Will definitely book in the future. Good location for Chester- we walked to the City walls in 15 mins along the canal.
