Excellent standard of hotel with breakfast included in great location for walkable access to central Chester. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Confusing signage on entry to hotel/ race course car park ( no overnight parking), lead to use of town car park opposite. Which turned out to be cheaper and allowed us to stay for longer, although you do have to cross a busy road . Note adjacent to railway line, which has overnight goods trains. Would happily stay again.

Lovely few days in Chester. Fabulous location to the town Beautiful grounds Room lovely and clean Shampoo and shower gel lovely and creamy Fan was very useful during the hot weather Breakfast was very nice Just wish it was a king size bed not a double Would defo stay again

Check in was made so easy by David :) He was friendly, knowledgable and professional. Rooms were comfy, clean and quiet to say we wer on floor 3 facing the main road. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices. Parking easy and cost effective. Overall avery pleasant stay. All staff we spoke to were very nice. Barman very nice too.

Excellent breakfast. Good location for a short stroll into Chester centre. BUT too noisy. At side of a busy railway line, lots of other noises from racecourse equipment. Had to keep windows open to keep cool but then couldn’t sleep because of noise.

Modern standard room with comfortable bed and in a great location. 5 mins walk from the city centre. Staff very pleasant with a decent breakfast choice and quality. Parking at £10 per day is reasonable as it is so close to city centre.

Really friendly staff, great location by the racecourse. Breakfast as you would expect - they even brought the veggie sausages right to me so great service! Only issue were finishing touches to the room, I.e. dusty curtains and previously used milk pot by the kettle.

Very clean room and excellent staff. Parking is £10 a night which is disappointing no air con in rooms. Railway line runs straight past the hotel which can keep you awake if you have the window open which I did because the room was hot. I would stay there again but maybe not in the hot weather
