We love this spot. Next to the water so if me or my son wants to return to the room and take nap, the other can continue fishing out back. Nice people. Not sure if the ice machine has been repaired but the store is just next door. Can sit outside on the patio and see the river. Peaceful

we only stayed one night being by the river was great, but they need to update the place felt like i stepped back into 1980 It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Outside by river needs to be cleaned up and the walk way near the river was very unstable....

Old poorly-maintained hotel. Spider webs and dirt and junk on the balcony so we couldn't really enjoy it. Smelly old carpets, holes in the wall, wallpaper coming off the shelf, coffee in the room not cleaned or emptied. Bed was decently comfortable though.

Have been staying for years and will again and again. The view from the balcony is great and the sound of the river flowing is so relaxing. This place is just what I needed to relax and unwind. The atmosphere of cherokee is more laid back than most places and we love it.
