We stayed at this lodge for two nights and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everyone was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive to everything we needed. The place was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and had a warm, comfortable atmosphere. The staff is very, very friendly, which made us feel at home throughout our stay. Breakfast consisted of choice of eggs, garlic biscuit, two steps of bacon, soup like gravy, side order of mushrooms and kale, water, orange juice, and coffee. Other than the eggs there was no choice. Lodge is an old house in which floors creak above your room and voices of other guest can be heard through out. Lodge is in middle of a neighbor and pics are misleading. Expected to be in the scenic hills, but was just off of main street. The lodge however was clean and the host was very hospitable..

Lovely retreat.

Food was excellent farm to table. The walls are paper thin and we heard everything next door. The owner was absolutely superb. We could not ask for a nicer host. Our dog got anxious and chewed one of their pillows. They charged us minimal for it.
