Poor internet, pool was closed, nice motel but had a strange smell, (like an ammonia odor) not sure if that was because i was on third floor where laundry room was but after a few days, guess my nose grew used to it. The building itself could use a pressure washing but I guess with all the rain, its hard to do that, breakfast was ok, could've had a little more options but overall it was convenient to everything and close to the college which I really enjoyed.

This is our 2nd time staying- and our 1st stay was a better experience. It is close to WCU and conveniently located across from Walmart- so the location can’t be beat for a short stay to visit WCU. There was a pretty photo op set up welcoming students & families to the university which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great during our 1st stay, but was completely out of everything this time, including coffee, so that was disappointing. However, I understand that the person taking care of breakfast may have been new or gotten behind after a rush. Overall, there did not seem to be enough staff working during this visit to maintain the standards we experienced the first time.
