Sets the standard for hospitality

Extremely pleasant people at the hotel, always welcoming and positive - giving everyone a nice feeling. Only drawback was that the aircondition was not able to keep the room at a decent temperature. Only a short drive to city centre with lots of free parking places.

The hotel is located by the main shopping estate in the area, not exactly in Cognac but easy enough to drive into Cognac on one straight road. Wifi is not very well connected. I used it in the common dining area. Breakfast is fine. Parking is ample. Communal kettle by the entrance did not go down well for me. I have to fetch water from my room to fill the kettle and boil it in the public area. Not great value for money but is acceptable and adequate for a stopover.

Das Hotel war eine erfreuliche Überraschung. Super Frühstück, freundlicher Empfang. Unkomplizierter Abschluss. Moderne, zweckmässige schöne Einrichtung . Dusche, Licht in Zimmer und Bad. Einziger Punkt: Es war innert 3/4Stunden nicht möglich, abends um 22 Uhr ein Taxi zu bekommen. Ich bedanke mich für den Aufenthalt. Gute Preis/Leistung.
