Hostales en Charleton

“Good location and food”

“Lovely place, lovely setting. Convenient for a Plymouth but quiet and picturesque, fantastic walks along the Yealm. And a great pub.”

“The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.”

“Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. “Property was stunning and spotless. Lovely little extras like fruit and flapjacks in the room. The place was like a boutique hotel. The food and service was excellent. I would recommend.”

“The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it.”

“Solo me arrepiento de no haber reservado más noches. El SPA está genial y tiene un horario muy amplio.”

“We were a little disappointed with our stay and are surprised by the number of positive comments. While our room itself was clean enough, the rest of the property would benefit from a serious deep clean. The carpets on the stairs were heavily ingrained with dirt. We were also surprised to find that the dining area was carpeted, which seems an unusual and impractical choice for a breakfast room. The carpet was very dirty and had a musty smell, and there were crumbs scattered around when we came...

“The woman who greeted us, was so lovely!!! Made us feel welcomed and at home and would recommend to anyone visiting.”
