Had a great stay at Tides Folly Beach. The location is hard to beat—right on the beach and within walking distance of everything Folly Beach has to offer. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Everything was clean, comfortable, and made for an easy beach getaway. Being able to walk straight out to the ocean and then enjoy the restaurants and bars nearby was a huge plus. I would definitely stay at Tides again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Folly Beach.

If you’re looking for a true beach experience, the Tides has it all! Beautifully maintained, very friendly staff and a gorgeous view of the ocean. Pinky’s is a great addition and has delicious beachy drinks. Having parking at the hotel was clutch. The town is very walkable and no need to drive. Would definitely consider staying at the Tides again soon!

I liked the coffee shop. It made for a convenient breakfast spot. The pool was nice, and a good temperature. The proximity of the pool and beach access were big selling points for me. I also liked the fact that I could park the car for the week. The restaurants and shops within walking distance made it a relaxing, laidback vacation experience. The staff was all very polite and helpful.

Great hotel. Loved the access and location to the beach. Pool was a bit dirty. Loved the use of beach chairs. But note: there is a company renting them also and it is not clear that those are not from the hotel. Also hotel chairs are not the nicest. Plan to go and stay again soon.

We enjoyed our time at the Tides. The proximity to the beach and the many eating places close by, you hardly had to leave Folly. It is also close to downtown Charleston ( about 25 minutes). Highly recommend and we will be back!

Can't beat beachfront and pool access steps away. 99% great overnight stay!!! 1% was the noise from a/c unit at night trying to sleep. Pinkys was a hit!! Check in gal friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely stay again. One night stay a little pricey..but you get what you pay for!! Fab visit!!!

The room was clean, the view was beautiful. The staff was friendly, The location was excellent. Parking was available as well as beach chairs which was a nice complimentary thing to have. The Pinky's restaurant was cute and the food and drinks were good. The only thing I wish was to have enough space in the balcony of the rooms to be able to put some chairs and sit outside. The other downfall was the elevator, they only had one working and there was always a long wait and line to use it and going up 8 flights of stairs in the summer heat was not going to happen. Other than that I had a great stay and would stay again if I ever went back to South Carolina.

The beach view unobstructed. Rooms outdated and noisy. Had to change rooms and the staff nice about it but no one to help my handicapped mother. There was always 1 of 2 elevators broken and their cleaning staff took the elevator, no service elevator. I was very disappointed with my stay overall. The wait staff excellent though.
