The hotel was good and clean, staff was really nice and they had a restaurant downstairs. The pool was very small, not worth if you want a hotel with a pool for kids, this is not the one. I like the fact that they have a shuttle to take you down to Charleston downtown, that was a nice service :)

This is the perfect spot if you want to be close to downtown. Their shuttle runs until 10:30 at night. We used to to go to the Charleston Music hall for a concert. Perfect location.

Our DoubleTree stay was delightful. It took us a second to recognize that parking all the way in back was the most convenient option, then things were great. Everthing was clean and well-kept, and we especially appreciated the layout of the king-bed room with the couch under the window.

Upon arrival everything looked ok and our room looked nice. We had been in the heat all day and just looking forward to getting showers and resting. Shower gel was completely empty, but front desk sent more quickly. Found several pubic hairs in the shower and hotel never acknowledged by message about that. TV was not a smart one and we were unable to screencast our phones so had to watch shows on our phones. Looking forward to sleeping in to be woken by very loud, repetitive noises beginning at 6 AM and continuing for more than 2 hours. Breakfast was not included. Very frustrating and disappointing stay. Would not recommend or return.
