There were bugs coming up from a drain in the middle of bathroom, two quarter rolls of TP left on back of toilet to use no new roll, and the room had an awful smell. The bed was comfortable.

The people at the hotel were very helpful and courteous. We were attending a youth football tournament and needed housing for several boys. The property was not fancy, but it was exactly what we needed. The refrigerator and microwave came in very handy!! We will be staying here again, and I recommend it highly for people working on a tight budget.

We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.

Budget Motel - Good Value

The motel somewhat tricky to find however beautiful location on the river. Very quiet, room well appointed and clean. Good lighting in bathroom and great shower pressure. Very reasonable rates. Very good pizza restaurant 5 mins walk away.

The room was just as described by other reviews we read. Quiet location, right on the Kanawha River. Parking right in front of room, and very clean rooms. Nothing fancy, but a nice overnight and affordable stay.

This the place to stay if you are going to Laidley Field for games or track meets. Reasonable priced, quiet, and 10 minutes from any kind of food you want to eat. Its in partial hidden location but great overlook of river and across to Kanawha City. Staff was nice and easy check in and check out.
