This hotel was in a great location, the staff was very helpful, a bit noisey as you are so near the harbour but that cannot be helped.

It was exactly what I was expecting from a small boutique hotel. Great location and access to local restaurants and shops. The room isn’t super exciting, small bathroom and not much space around the room. The double room was the perfect size for one guest, but would accommodate 2 with no problems. I would definitely stay here again.

Best location in the heart of Chania. Traditional and cozy hotel with a delicious home made breakfast. The view to the port and the lighthouse are the best. Many nice restaurants and shops all around.

The hosts at Nostos Hotel were immensely kind and helpful, sourcing trip info, timetables, and booking taxis. The building was full of character and beautifully decorated. Location was incredible with gorgeous balcony views (being on the harbour front meant there was noise into the evening, but the vista across the water was unbeatable). Thank you for a great stay.

I loved the concept of this little place very traditionally Greek. We had a harbour view with balcony. Bed was comfy & breakfast was perfect for us. Close to many good restaurants & pickup points as cars cannot get thru. There are 2 flights of stairs to carry luggage with no help. The rooftop area is great. As we enjoyed our stay there were a lot of things not good. There was no light at the top of the stairs to get key in door & walk up/down stairs in dark. About 4 floor boards near door was loose felt like you were going to go thru the floor. Shower is ridiculously too small with shower curtain. Toilet roll holder falling off with the shelf. Only gave us 1 drinking glass Make sure the bed is down stairs not up the top the stairs are dangerous very narrow & steep. Cleaning was ok not great. They never washed our coffee cups or gave us clean spoons. Sounds like I’m complaining although we did enjoy our stay.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is in the perfect location to see the old town, right out the front door is a main street filled with restaurants and shops and the windows of a lot of the rooms face the famous harbor. The rooms and bathrooms are a touch rustic, but the hotel is still beautiful.
