Vacations Close To North Ridge Shopping Center

The staff is excellent. If you want kitschy Route 66 this is the place for you. It feels like an old-fashioned motel, but one with putting green, arcades, and a pool in the lobby. The attached restaurant is pretty good and has great service and live music and a dance floor, so you do not have to go far to entertain yourself. With all of that, it was extremely quiet and the room was spacious. Breakfast was not the greatest, but better than having to seek it out on your own.

Maintenance in our room was very poor. The bathroom vanity faucet was the worst. It was deteriorated to such an extent that part of it was actually missing. The hotel is under renovation and the parking lot has half a dozen containers scattered around making it feel less than inviting. Only half of the kitchen faucet worked but there wasn’t a kitchen (just a tiny microwave and two tiny refrigerators) so the little kitchen sink had no purpose anyway.

Staff not helpful.

Great experience

Overall, it was great, and a way better option than staying at a hotel. Especially if you are traveling with pets, as there’s no extra fees for having a pet stay. I was a little worried about the noise from being right next to the highway, but the place was built with soundproof walls somewhat so you don’t really hear it. I do want to note just as an awareness thing that there are only two windows, which is one window in each bedroom. So if you are someone that doesn’t like being somewhere with not very many windows and not very much natural light, then this might not be great for you.
