The main problem with this hotel was the lack of parking spaces. Apart from this, the hotel is nice and comfortable and not too far from the main town area of Celle.

A lovely and quaint hotel within walking distance to the historic old city. My room was very clean and comfortable, and on an unusually hot day, it was a pleasant surprise to find air conditioning in every room. This hotel is a great value. There are rooms located in two buildings, they are virtually next to each other and even though my friend and I were in separate buildings, it was no problem at all. Breakfast was included in my room rate and if you’re usually hungry in the morning, you’re sure to find a variety of delicious options, including gluten free bread if you ask for it. The staff was absolutely delightful, helpful, and kind. I would definitely return, should I find myself visiting Celle again.

Nice hotel

The hotel was nice and has a lot of potential, but some aspects could be improved. The pillows for example were pretty poor quality and seemed very old. However the building was beautiful, the location was good and breakfast was excellent quality. The breakfast room was also very pretty with plenty of natural light and nice views. If certain details like the quality of bedding was improved the hotel would be absolutely excellent.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr kalt, nicht vorgeheizt, als wir um 15 Uhr anreisten. Die Kaffeeemaschine im Zimmer funktionierte nicht, dafür bekamen wir aber vom freundlichen Personal an der Rezeption einen Kaffee. Am Tag des Auscheckens kam die Putzfrau bereits um 8:30 nach kurzem Klopfen einfach ins Zimmer und klopfte dann ca jede Viertelstunde, obwohl wir ihr sagten, dass wir erst um 12 Uhr auschecken, wie es ja erlaubt ist. So fühlen wir uns jedoch richtig rausgeekelt. Schade, das Zimmer, Personal, Schwimmbad und Frühstück waren eigentlich sehr gut - aber nach diesen Erfahrungen kann ich das Hotel nicht besser bewerten.
