“Interior del hotel muy bien decorado. Habitación amplia (7), cómoda y calentita. En el cuarto de baño había un problema de evacuación del agua de la ducha. Punto negativo, la manera de recibir ha sido un poco impersonal y hemos tenido que pagar todo con antelación cuando hemos llegado. Personal del desayuno muy simpático, muchas gracias a ella por sus sonrisas y su ayuda. Desayuno muy bueno y completo.”

“We arrived to find the room we had booked on the first floor had been trashed the night before and the only available room was on the second floor . The problem for us was my husband is recovering from hospital so the extra stairs didn't help. That said the staff were amazing and did all they could to help us and although it was a smaller room it was lovely. We had several meals in the hotel which were very good and would recommend The White Lion Royal.”

“I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant. “Lots to like here. Room was spacious and clean, staff were courteous and helpful, parking was ample, and location was a very pleasant stroll from town, 10-15 mins depending on pace. We ate here and the food was good, if a touch on the pricey side. We also had a massage which sadly wasn’t to our taste; the experience itself was good, again nice staff, pleasant surroundings, but we opted for deep tissue and got what I would describe as Swedish.
