“From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything.”

“Appearance was very drab, in need of renovation. Very basic furniture, extremely noisy cistern when flushing the loo. Overhead light in the bathroom was full of dead insects etc, wires hanging down from the television. Black mould on the windows. Tea bags not sealed but loose in a plastic container and not fresh. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. The cooked breakfast was very nice.”

“clean and quiet”

“The food was excellent”

“I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

“Excellent stay we had Such a great setting with glorious views Ascetically pleasing and a lovely welcoming young family Thank you x”

“Lovely one night stay at the Queens, we ate at the restaurant food was also very good it is in the main town so walkable to everywhere, perfect location and staff were very friendly and helpful”

“Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately”

“Enjoyed stay both this time and also previous stay, excellent customer service Never have I had to think about the cleanliness or good service as I’d give it a rating of 10/10 on every aspect of the stays”
