Lobby and main entrance are beautiful. It was easy to get parking on street close to hotel. Food was very good at restaurant in hotel. Good breakfast too. Staff very helpful. The only weak point is the missing fridge or microwave in room, but staff offered to keep our cold items in the reception fridge. Room are comfortable. Location very good to visit the area.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Cleanliness
Parking situation is odd...you park down the road at the library then walk back to the hotel...a bit odd as there was a guy in the street yelling and waving his arms around clearly angry and upset about something...not a great firxt impression. Our room (128) was dated with a good sized black sticky stain on the carpet right in front of the windows. We did bring it to the attention of the front desk as we were checking out so hopefully they deal with it. We just kept our shoes on. The common areas of the hotel were nice and decently kept. Breakfast was average hotel breakfast...adequate but nothing special. Service at dinner was slow and not very attentive. We had to wait a good 15 -20 minutes for beverages...like they forgot as our meals arrived immediately after. The food itself was fine...again nothing outstanding. In general, it was an okay stay. A decent value for the price but I probably wouldn't stay again.

This was a quick one night stop on our Ireland road trip. Parking availability was challenging. The property was clean and dinner in the restaurant was good. However the hotel is very dated and the rooms are very basic. The only coffee available in the room was instant. Expected more for the price paid, although it was on the bank holiday, so perhaps that had impact but a coffee maker in rooms would be an improvement
