Absolutely gorgeous property! The staff could not have been more attentive, kind and welcoming. The beach was clean and workers readily available to provide towels, drinks and snacks. The hotel is amazing and the staff are caring. The only inconvenience we encountered was delays in the golf cart services to get our bags to the lobby and the catamaran having technical issues which meant we arrived via speedboat. The hotel staff helped resolve the catamaran issue quickly and refunded us a portion. Amazing stay overall.

At Sofitel they go more than above and beyond. The service is incredible and they treat you like absolute royalty. The hotel is breathtaking from the moment you walk into the lobby. Loved our stay. It’s definitely a place to go to and stay there since it’s about an hour from Cartagena and traveling back and forth can be expensive. The staff and the service were unbelievable. The food was great, breakfast buffet had a million options BUT I would avoid the food truck at all costs and the sushi restaurant.

This resort was absolutely beautiful. It feels remote and secluded while offering so many activities and delicious dining options that you'll never be bored. We didn't bring our young kids this time, but we noticed there were plenty of family-friendly amenities, including a kids' club, children's pool, playground, and organized activities throughout the day. It definitely made us wish we had brought them along! Breakfast was our favorite part of each day. Sofitel truly thinks of everything—the attention to detail and the exceptional service from the staff were second to none. Every interaction made us feel welcome and well taken care of. They treated us so well here I didn't mind the incidental charges. Be prepared to pay for every meal and every trip both ways to the city. This location is for families and relaxation but the Walled city is vibrant and culturally rich! The last 20 minutes of the ride to this location is rocky because the road is not paved. Transport by car is cheaper than by boat, so I recommend an SUV by land because the ride is a little smoother than a regular sedan.

Excellent property with an outstanding Team and service. The amenities and attention from the concierge, front desk, housekeepers, pool and beach, restaurant staff is beyond 5 stars… The only thing i would not consider 5 stars is the road that leads to the hotel, the gravel road is not suitable for everyone or any car, our taxi driver had a flat tire that had to change when he dropped us off, imagine if this happened in the middle of the road or at night! Hope the hotel and other properties nearby could adopt the road and fix it. other than that our stay was amazing!

This is the best place from service to whatever it is you want these people work hard at making sure you are 100 percent satisfied it is a little bit expensive but in life you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for best experience and want to treat yourself this is the place to stay

10/10 stay at Sofitel, incredible value, 5 star service from start to finish, amazing pools, amazing beaches, amazing food/drink. Would go again every time I’m back in Cartagena area.
