It was a nice place to stay and the food was good, unfortunately I had a problem with the air conditioning going on and off. However the did try to fix it and also agreed to switch our room. They were very helpful and accommodating and that was commendable.

The property was at a good location, but the AC didnt blow out cold air, the shower hot water was luke warm, the beds were very hard, and the only one key for a room with 3 people.. I had to book another hotel with better amenity and stay there instead of here

Staff was horrible with the exception of 2 people Abel and the bell boy.. they were the nicest people in the entire facility. I would never go again… the rest of the staff seem to have an attitude problem and looked like they didn’t want to be there or help the hotel guest. My first night there my room got flooded with water that came out of the restroom from the shower. The food was not good. I felt like it was unsanitary. I did like that they came and clean the room every day! I expected so much more from this place but was totally disappointed

This is a good option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive resort. Of course, for the price, you shouldn’t expect a luxurious experience. The drinks are very basic, and the food is quite repetitive, with similar options served every day. Dinner restaurants require reservations; however, even if you forget, you’ll still be able to dine somewhere. The A/C only keeps the room somewhat fresh, not truly cool. We had three rooms, and all of them had the same issue. We contacted reception, but they told us everything was working properly, so it seems that’s just how their system operates. Some of the staff are very nice, especially in the restaurants, though it often feels tied to tipping. Otherwise, service is just average. beach is NOT private and NO CLEAR WATER if that's what you are looking for. We rented a car, which was very convenient, but I strongly recommend staying within the tourist areas. We decided to visit a beach about an hour away from the hotel, and it turned into a very scary experience. We were almost robbed—motorcyclists started following us, and eventually a group of men blocked the road and wouldn’t let us pass. We had to quickly turn around and drive away at high speed. They followed us for a while before finally stopping. Aside from that incident, the hotel itself is good, and the nearby tourist areas feel safe, with plenty of security. One downside is that vendors can be very persistent and sometimes a bit harassing.

Hotel was clean and safe, across the street from the beach which was great. Hotel offers free beach umbrella vouchers, but like restaurant reservations, it's first-come first-served so you have to ask early in the day. Otherwise, it costs $10CAD for an umbrella and 2 basic chairs, which is reasonable. Hotel beach table with free non-alc drinks is super convenient. Lots of "salespeople" at the beach, gets annoying to wave them off so often, but great if you want a $2 beer without going back to the hotel. Some hotel areas and amenities are dated, but clean and everything works. We tipped the maid, and at every meal and each time we were going to sit around for drinks (~$20-30 CAD total tips per day for 2 people, a litltle extra on day 1), and the staff were super friendly and nice. Very good local food choices at all meals, enough variety, never seemed to run out of anything. Snack bar offers good "North American" food choices. Lots of people try to sell you boat & bus tours. After listenting to about 10 people in the first few days try to sell us the same things, we finally bought a full day private boat tour for our group of 8. It was an amazing day and cost 1.9million COP ($650 CAD). A couple inconveniences that shouldn't change your mind about staying here: 1. Check in was slow 2. You get 1 physical key per room, so you have to navigate when two people are at different places

Definitely not as advertised. The room and balcony were much smaller than expected and not very appealing. The food quality and selection were well below average, especially for an all-inclusive resort. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money or vacation time here. I’ve stayed at several all-inclusive hotels, and this was by far the most disappointing. On the positive side, the pool was nice, the drinks were decent, and the staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Unfortunately, those positives weren’t enough to make up for the overall experience.

The hotel offers a beautiful sea view, and most of the staff were friendly; while some waiters were very pleasant, others were not quite as welcoming. Outside the hotel, vendors ask where you are from, and upon learning you are a foreigner, they charge double or even triple for products, massages, or excursions. Fortunately, hotel staff warn you to be careful, and the police are also always looking out for tourists.
