Our favorite hotel in the Carlsbad / San Diego area. Pet friendly, clean rooms, good free breakfast and milk and cookies, in the evening. Plus any beach stuff you need available for your use. Highly recommend the West Inn to everyone coming to the area.

With our Legoland annual passes, this is our 4th time staying here. It’s clean and walking distance to take a jog or walk next to the beach. Definitely recommend for families!

I booked last minute and arrived very late at night. Night front desk staff was very kind. Upon arrival, the lobby smelled fresh. The beds were comfy, and rooms were clean. Breakfast had a variety of options. I recommend this property and will stay again whenever in Carlsbad.

everything was great but unfortunately the jacuzzi and table tennis were broken but everything else was great and also the cookies that they have were phenomenal ! ( great breakfast ( too much pepper on potato ))
