Staff was super nice and friendly! The room stayed nice and cold, beds were comfortable, shower pressure and temperature was 10/10. The location was well maintained. Appreciate the free parking as well. Extra blankets would be have been nice, some mold in the bathroom, mostly on the bathroom heating fan. The door didn’t feel like it locked very well and a good size gap on the bottom of the door.

I loved the layout of this place. Nice Park down the road and a pool to enjoy. The freeway noise was annoying while out by the pool, but the property itself was worth the money. The room was spacious but the bathroom lacked venting. The bathroom would get pretty warm and steamy while showering.

The staff is very helpful. I travel alone and it’s nice to hear good morning? How was your day? I stopped to chat with the front desk about my day! Súper homey feeling. Love the diner down the street. Love the park and beach close by. I’ll definitely stay here every time I visit Carlsbad.

The property sits on top of the 5 Freeway.. If you have sleeping issues, it's an issue. Lucky I was able to move runs on 2nd night of my stay.. The pool was filthy.. As I was doing my strokes, I was picking up blobs of hair.. They are putting to much chlorine into the water and they are not vacuuming the pool daily and brushing it properly. I used to own a pool cleaning service so.. The bed was clean... I did find hair in the room, shower and on the floors.. Location is close to everything, and the staff are very nice and super helpful..

Location was convenient. The room was basic but clean. The breakfast isn’t much at all, just a twinkies nothing else! It shouldn’t be advertised as breakfast. Also the coffe ran out continuously so we had to ask for it often!!
