“The room was functional, spacious but a little tired. Staff was great, the breakfast a treat, but the restaurant wasn't worth the cost - 3 star fare at 4 star prices. Location was excellent, and parking secure. We'd go back if ever wanting to explore Hadrian's wall again.”

“Breakfast was good and the lady tending it was very sweet. Front desk staff was very rude. Pretty bad first impression. Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.”

“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”
