Breakfast was wonderful. The location was excellent. The hotel itself was in decent shape, but the lift was broken and four floors were difficult to navigate with suitcases. One gentleman at the desk was willing to help, though.

An unusual hotel, as the reception is on the second floor but it’s in a great location, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, very central location, can be very noisy in rooms from street activities. Sadly the rooms need updating, mould in the bathroom, bed and pillows uncomfortable, carpark recommended by hotel was disgusting, unable to use lifts as the smell of urine was overpowering. No drop off zone in front or near hotel entrance

A brilliant location within a short walking distance to the train and bus station and the Castle and other attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bedroom had a lovely comfortable bed (although a little creaky!) and the bathroom had everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice.

Hotel is in a great location, so close to shops, restaurants and grocery. Also very close walking distance to the main train station and Cardiff castle. The room was so spacious and very quiet. The hotel lounge is a great place to wind down after a days outing.
