The location is absolutely perfect right in downtown across from the castle. Very nice lobby and spacious rooms with a kettle for tea and coffee. For the price this is a great place. Obviously it’s not a 5 star hotel but it was really a perfect place for a weekend visit.

Really lovely hotel and right in the middle of town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is very grand and is kept very clean and tidy … it’s just a little dated and tired in places. We as a family recommend and we could also take our dog which was great.

Clean hotel and provided good accommodations in a great location. The building is beautiful, but my single bed room was fairly small and dated. Good value for the price.

Property people are very nice. We stayed in a room where when you flushed the toilet the shower gurgled. The night stands need a good scrub and the room ran at a slant so your head was lower than your feed in the bed. A good scrub and fresh paint would do the hotel wonders.
