Booked for the Festival of the Seas weekend, Barry

Don't believe the bad reviews, we stayed in Room 3 outside the hotel, highly recommend. They let us check in an hr early, lovely big room out in the beer garden of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable, staff lovely, will be back!

Very nice

A nice place to stay for a few nights. Beds were not the comfiest, but once you get used to them, they're okay. Staff were nice, and there's plenty of shops nearby for whatever you need.

Swift and friendly check in. The lady was extremely helpful and ordered us a taxi when we needed one. Room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Only problem was that the curtains wouldn't close properly. Would stay there again if needed as it is a good budget hotel.

Had a good stay here, we wanted to stay as the pub is used in Gavin and Stacey, me and my son are big fans, for the price we paid i cant complain, yes the room was basic, but it was fine, we had a twin room, double bed was ok but the single was not comfy, very friendly staff who we met there and a gorgeous cat Norma, definitely would stay again 😀

Perfect to get your head down for the night.

You get what you pay for, but couldn’t grumble with the room it was clean and tidy and what I can gather the rooms out the back are better than in the hotel. It was perfect to get your head down for the night and a cheeky pint before heading out for the night.

Wasn’t expecting the family room to be so big. All the things you need for a last minute stay. Tea and coffee facilities too. Very clean and comfortable for the four of us. We had a great stay. Thanks a lot!

Staff friendly our annex was ok had damp in it the hotel/ pub not so nice the locals made it very clear that you wasn’t welcome all we wanted was a quick drink but was told we couldn’t sit anywhere in the pub so it was best we left if we hadn’t gone especially for our daughters birthday and drove 5 hrs to get there we would of gone straight home

Hotel was well presented. Had the privilege of having a bar downstairs this is not noicey much at night time .. Chinese around the courner was tasty .friendly staffs.

Lovely staff, clean, soft clean bed. Needs updating or at least refreshing at least with some paint. For the price can’t really complain but I would rather pay a bit extra to have it refreshed with that paint I mentioned earlier

Tadoss

First time to Barry and came as a stopover for the Cardiff half marathon. Tadoss is great value for money. It is clean and well positioned.
