A top class experience all round, I have stayed at the Taj Cape Town on a couple of occasions and they always manage to exceed my expectations. All of the staff are both attentive and friendly and the facilities are excellent. Breakfast is a joy with a huge amount of choice and the Spa is lovely.

I stayed with Taj in Cape Town for one night and it was an excellent experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hiked table mountain my second day and they held my baggage for me after checkout and let me use the facilities to freshen up before my departure. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cape Town!

The overall stay was excellent. Breakfast had so many options, each dish was unique. Dinner at the Bombay Brasserie was out of the world, each dish fresh, delicately flavored and distinctive!! Of special mention - the honesty of the housekeeping staff. I had dropped some cash, leaving the room, unaware of my loss. When I returned, there was a note by security, with all the cash intact. I would recommend Taj in Cape Town for a wonderful stay in a prime location with an amazingly helpful cheerful staff.

I had an amazing 6 nights stay at this property. Must say the the hospitality of staff were superb. I was upgraded to a higher category room by Mink, front desk manager. The conscirge, Tariq is very best. He helped me plan the day trips to wineries and other day trips. Will certainly stay again in my next Cape Town trip.

I've stayed at The Taj many times, this time was a different purpose as I had a medical procedure to undergo. I wanted to know I could recuperate afterwards in a hotel where I would have a spotless clean and quiet room, plenty of space, great amenities, full blackout curtains, comfortable bed, choice of pillows, and having great staff on hand to take care of whatever I would need in my stay. Knowing I would not really leave my room for a few days I need a great room. All of this I got, and great in-room dining. I was able to enjoy the J-Wellness spa before I had my procedure which was great for being relaxed and ready for that. As ever The Taj and the wonderful staff who work there really excelled at making it a great experience. I will be back soon.

Really convenient hotel in the heart of Cape Town, opposite St. George's Cathedral. The front of the hotel has limited parking options, so,c one has to valet for about $15 day. Beautiful lobby. Staff were super friendly. Laundry service was reliable. Their breakfast buffet was luxurious. We stayed for their high tea - yummy and wonderful selection of teas, like ROOIBOS. We had a great view of the mountain. I miscalculated by booking, and they were kind enough to extend out stay. They have a concierge that organizes everything - like helicopter trips. Good deal. Lovely rooms.
