The Bedford Inn is a very nice, friendly place, well placed for walking to many areas of Cape May, and not far from the beach. The room was appealing and clean. The building is a lovely Victorian former home. Give it a try!

It was located a block from the ocean and walkable to shops and restaurants. There was a breakfast buffet in the morning, tea and coffee were always available and there was a refrigerator to share with other guests. Our bathroom was tiny(Ellie’s room) but manageable. The best part was sitting out on the balcony, porch, or sunroom, reading or having breakfast.

The location is the key. It’s about 1 block from the beach and an easy walk. Also very easy to get to Washington St shopping and restaurants. Parking at the site is limited to only a few compact cars. We enjoyed breakfast and meeting other people at the table and hearing of their adventures as well. Staff were very attentive and easy to work with.

I loved the combination of a homey historical house, with modern day amenities. The room was on the third floor which was a bit of a challenge for me but the space was perfect for me and my daughter. The daily breakfast was always great food, and the patios were so nice and convenient. The location was walking distance from the beach! The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated in the period of the Inn. All of the common rooms and the porches were also beautiful and comfortable. The Inn is in easy walking distance of the beach, shopping, and streets full of gorgeous homes, also beautifully decorated in the style of the 1800’s. The Inn provided perfect beach chairs and towels. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. A wonderful getaway!

The staff were super helpful and kind and the room was cute. Only thing was the deadbolt on the room door did not work at all. Other than that the food was good at both the Bedford inn and their sister property. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly! The room was very small! A few things didn’t work but they sent a maintenance man quickly. Room definitely needed better lighting and some outlets. No views from our windows. Very unappealing. Breakfast was very simple, nothing fancy or special. It was fine. Location is great! We walked everywhere. We had a great time, just spent very little time in the actual bandb.
