The rooms were quaint and clean, and the views were great, staff was good. However, if one is looking for a glorified bed and breakfast then this is the place. It was a little too noisy for me. I prefer to have a bistro or bar in my place of stay, but others may like the ambiance.

Beautiful property, quaint room but not sure worth the price (we had the upgraded corner front room with a partial view). Downstairs had a lounge with tea/coffee/light snacks. We were disappointed we had to leave before the 730am breakfast, maybe the price would have made more sense. Property within walking distance to everything in Canmore so that was nice.

Nothing unique about the property. Price was very expensive and would not pay $700 per night again . Fireplace inside our room was out of service. Wood burning sauna you could not use water to create steam. No cold plunge as advertised online. Hot tub was very nice. Breakfasts OK but nothing special. Staff very friendly. The Lady MacDonald Country Inn was a wonderful experience for our time in Banff. The staff were great hosts and incredibly helpful with any questions/concerns regarding our stay. They also made good, healthy breakfast to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The suite we stayed in was also very clean and kept well. Amenities that were offered were also wonderful. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this inn!
