Our Second stay at Basecamp. This time we were a group of 9 on motorcycles. The staff accommodated an extra parking stall for all of our motorcycles. The rooms were clean, quiet, and spacious enough for all of us to gather and socialize. Walkable to restaurants, pubs, and stores. I did wish the hot tub was open just an hour later! 10pm is early when you’re out for dinner and want to have a soak before bed! Will stay agin 100%

Loved having a kitchen and washer and dryer, but there was room for nothing else besides a bed and tiny tall table. One luggage rack for one suitcase, 2 hangers in a closet. No AC but had an overhead fan and floor fan. Nowhere to sit except the bed. Suitcases were in the floor. Bathroom was adequate and typical. Have to ask for towels and to clean the room. The location was great, close to walking trails and could walk to the town center or stores.

Rooms were clean. Hot tub was available during our stay. 3 bedroom pictures on the Expedia/VRBO app listing are accurate. Washroom baseboards are showing their age maybe due to high moisture & heating in the winter. Only issue in our last night: TELUS WiFi service kept kicking us out. It switches from WiFi to 5G every few minutes. It probably is colder in the open concept living room & kitchen areas due to single(?) pane windows and also bedrooms have an "A" style high ceilings. All in all, we will give it a 5/5 ⭐️s!

Wonderful stay. The only small improvement would be to have better blackout blinds, as the light from outside shone in our window all night long. Beautiful views waking up from Basecamp Resorts every day. Very central in Canmore (which I think is nicer than Banff in so many ways). Suites were spacious and clean. The front desk is available 24/7 via text which is super convinent. There is also a hot tub that oversees the mountains which is a great amentity. Would have been nice if they provided mini/single use cooking oil for cooking

I’m giving this hotel 3 stars. While the staff was good and friendly, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is perfectly fine, but our room and furniture were covered with dog hair. I expected the room to be properly cleaned before our arrival, regardless of the pet-friendly policy. Another downside is the location. The hotel is very close to a railway line, and the noise from passing trains can be quite disruptive, especially at night. Overall, the staff was pleasant, but better cleaning standards and more transparency about the train noise would greatly improve the guest experience.
