One of my favorite vacations , the resoret so clean and the staff so sweet and helpful I highly recommend it also it's family friendly I went with my sister and her kids one 13 and the other one 16 we all spent unforgettable moments together, just the food I would rate it 7.5/10

Very clean well kept property prettie much everything shuts down 10pm all bars and pools which is alright for me I have two little ones. Staff was extremely friendly ,helpful, very happy with the overall expierence going there with my family of 4 with two little ones. And my kids loved the kids club they wanted to be there a lot which was nice. Room was cleaned daily very well done, kitchen food was great and every night had a new special for the theme offering some different choices for those of us who do not want to do the reservation restaurant and prefer a more care free feel for dinner times with kids. All drinks were good we did all inclusive and were very happy with the overall expierence.

We loved our stay at the Royal Cancun. Our beachfront two-bedroom was perfect for four people, with our teen sleeping on the murphy bed, which was an unexpected addition. Lots of seaweed on the beach, but that's not the resort's fault. Lovely pools, food better than many all inclusives, really enjoyed the Italian restaurant. LOVED going over to Royal Sands during the day to their beautiful stretch of beach, more pools and restaurants and bars that are included with the stay at Royal Cancun.

Resort and grounds are wonderful. Although the resort only has two formal restaurants, La Palapa has different themed nights so there is plenty of variety. Personally I preferred La Palapa then the Italian restaurant. Room service was also great for a late snack or even breakfast. All staff was great throughout the resort. Its also nice that you have access to the sister resort which has a few more restaurants and a couple water slides for the kids. There is transportation available too and from resorts, we had a rental so we didn't use it. This place is awesome for young families, it is more quiet than sone of the other party resorts which is exactly what i was looking for. My only complaint is the beach. The pictures posted on Expedia must be old because there is only a small patch of clear ocean, the rest is covered with sea grass which makes the water look dark and unattractive. I wish there could be something done about that so the beach could be more usable. Other than the beach this place is awesome.
