The Westin is in a great area in Calgary. Easy to walk everywhere. The park that is close by is a great place to see. We ate at the Keg restaurant which is attached to the Westin, highly recommend. The rooms very nice. The swimming pool & sauna was fabulous. We stayed for a wedding for 5 days. Calgary Westin was a wonderful hotel. Don't forget to have a bloody Caesar, best around.

Friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel is within walking distance of multiple food options, trains, and running path. There’s always a queue of taxis at the front and a bus to Banff, if wanted. It was also within walking distance of the Stampede Parade!

The ice machine on our floor did not work for the 4 days we were there although we did tell the staff on day one. The towels were rather threadbare. The room was conformable but the decor and the rest of the hotel was old and tired. Breakfast was so-so. The room service was odd - the food came packaged as if it had been outsourced. The staff service was excellent and the hotel is well-situated for dining and shopping. Overall, reasonable value for the money.

1. Arriving was a gong show. Valet parking had 1 staff on and it being a Saturday, vehicles all over the place. 2. Reception not typical Marriott, did not greet us as they do at other Facilities. 3. The hotel is old and shows it. Carpets badly stained, a hair still in the bathtub. Elevator tracks filthy. 4 If it wasn't for the Keg being there you would of had to go elsewhere. 5. The pool etc had been renovated and was very nice. 6. The price certainly not worth the money of this (run down) hotel.
