The hotel is very clean, do not judge the hotel from the entrance, as soon as you get to the hotel floor everything is perfect and clean, the hotel itself is on the first floor the staff are wonderful, Mohamed, Yustina and the hotel manager Nariman were very helpful, the hotel is in a perfect location many restaurants and cafes near by within walking distance , it worth the stay and the money, I highly recommended.

Staff amazing Everyone and everything was above expectations for the price! Only suggestion is time for new sheets. They are pilled. If looking for budget friendly room LOOK here! They have airport transport for a very reasonable fee. Per car not per person.

DO NOT JUDGE THIS HOTEL FROM THE STREET OR EVEN WHEN YOU ENTER THE MAIN DOOR! It looks so rundown and dingy but when you get to the first floor and enter the hotel doors, it’s a completely new story. Sama Hotel was squeaky clean with amazing staff who were always ready to help. The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfy. Certain rooms even have washing machines which came in great for washing our clothes after a trip to the pyramids. The breakfast is prepared fresh via an online order app and delivered to your room each day at the time you request. The elevator is small (and again, looks questionable) but is helpful for bringing up luggage. The area CAN be overwhelming for novice travelers as it’s in the middle of downtown Cairo, meaning there’s tons of stores, droves of people, and relentless traffic, but also meant there were loads of shops and food options around. We had no problem having tour pickups come to the hotel (they meet you at McDonalds which is right across the way). I will note that the windows are not soundproof so if you prefer a noise free environment, I would suggest booking elsewhere. Overall this hotel is a STEAL for the cost. I highly recommend it if you don’t mind a little chaos (outside).

Had a great stay here. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What really stood out was the staff, they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. They went above and beyond whenever we needed assistance and made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. Room View was amazing as well!

Very new and comfortable place, just like in the pictures. Excellent location and very nice and helpful staff at the front desk. Cheaper rooms are quieter because they don't face the street. Some noise possible from the corridor but it was nice and calm during my stay. Superb value for money, would definitely book again!

Sama became my regular destination. Book without hesitation. They have two locations. I tried both and they are excellent choice. Very central to all. The Ahmed Oraby location is so funky at night, you feel like you’re in an Egyptian movie. Soundproof windows, so you get to choose to hear it or not. Simple and thoughtful breakfast. Staff ready to pamper you and make you feel special. Thank you Sama staff

The room was exactly as advertised in the photos. It was very clean. The studio apartment was very spacious with the added benefit of the washing machine/ dryer. The staff were friendly, helpful and went over and above to help in any way (carrying luggage, getting taxi etc) Worth noting you need to go online & prebook time for breakfast & what you would like.
