That it was close to the beach (5 min. walk) there were 2 pools and the surrounds were wonderful. On the negative side we were given an upstairs room which meant that we had to carry heavy suit cases up the stairs ( I am 72 yo, and my wife is 66 it was a struggle) the room was clean, but we noticed ants in the bathroom after 2 days, we cleaned them up but they came back every 2 or 3 days. The oven did not work, as did the clock radio and the wall clock. I think that the microwave was in the wrong place as it was very awkward to to operate. I think that the whole unit needs a make over

Overall Great Choice, highly recommend!

Overall great experience. Check-in was seamless. Room was spacious and clean. Room included private laundry. Great location in a safe quaint town. Resort has great amenities, grounds are well kept throughout the property. And affordable!!

Have come back twice to stay at this gorgeous resort. The wildlife the pool the tropical feel is so incredible. It’s not over the top which lets you enjoy the warmth of your surrounds and experience. It’s family friendly and close to cairns and port Douglas . I will be returning here for many yrs to come . The family units are spacious and comfortable.

Fantastic place and pool. Appreciated the one night as port Douglas had issues. Only feedback is master ac seemed weak. No great coffee machine and bedding needs a comforter but excellent

A pleasant place to stay in paradise

Great position, great pool, fans and aircon, washing machine and dryer in apartment. Friendly , efficient front office and after hours key pick up safe with clear instructions. Covered parking bays. Can get noisy with pool central to all apartments. Stove top needed cleaning but otherwise a very pleasant stay for 2 nights.

Well presented apartment with laundry facilities and fully equipped kitchen, pool, short walk to ocean and restaurants. We stayed after hiking, so made good use of the space to unpack, wash and sort gear.

Awesome apartment with just about everything you could need, the wifi is not great in the apartment but that didn't really affect us. The location is awesome and the lagoon pool is a dream. Reception were very helpful on the phone and able to let us have our room early which was amazing. Reception wasn't open often but again not a problem for us. Only criticism is it would have been good to have some tea towels and over gloves in the apartment. Lovely place, in a lovely spot with an amazing pool, will be back!

Comfortable apartment

Good sized apartment that was clean and well presented. The wallabies in the garden were a nice bonus. My only real gripe would be it would have been nice to have some kitchen basics (cooking oil, salt etc) at the property.

Stayed at beautiful Marlin Cove for 5 nights over the new year, with 2 Adults and 2 Children the room was beautiful, modern and the pool(s) were amazing. Walked straight out to the lagoon style pool from our room. Games room with table tennis, soccer and air hockey which the kids loved! Stephanie was absolutely amazing and so friendly, she made our first time to Cains a memorable one 😊 Thankyou. Only a 5 minute walk to restaurants and there is a little grocery store around the corner! Highly recommended staying here and if we come back to Cairns we will definitely be staying here.
