This was our first visit to Hatteras and our hotel experience was awesome! We were able to check in early to the hotel and our room was oceanfront on the third floor, so we had an awesome view and really got to experience the full beach experience! We loved the cleanliness and the room was pretty large. The front desk staff was friendly and we appreciated being able to get into our room early after a long morning of travel! We appreciated being able to walk right to the beach rather than having to park somewhere else. We could go to the beach for an hour, come back to the room, go back down to the beach… Really can’t beat the location! There is some construction/dredging going on to the right of the hotel if you were facing the oceanfront… Really didn’t bother us since we are from an area that has dredging, and only there for one night, but if we were there for an entire week, that would’ve been annoying! There was still plenty of beach to enjoy, but kind of hard to relax with the noise of bulldozers a few feet away from your beach chairs.

The accommodations were ok. The bathroom and closet doors did not close properly. The property was a little dated. We did not have much interaction with the staff because we arrived late and left early. This was only a one-night stay. I must say that management was excellent in making us aware of the beach issues. There was a lot of beach erosion, but they made us aware of it as soon as the reservations were completed and sent updates and reminders. The communication was excellent.

My husband and I stayed here and it was honestly one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! The ocean view was incredible, everything was clean, the bed was SO comfortable. They provided a mini fridge, microwave, and even a hairdryer. The rooms were serviced daily. The lighting and fans and air-conditioning were awesome. They even have a free laundry area to use (provide own detergent). Outside our room was two chairs and a table, and there was a wall between us and the room next-door to give privacy. The Internet was great and their TV service allowed you to sign in to use your own streaming services. We are telling everyone how great it is, and we would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended!!!
