Breakfast was very good, much better than other Champneys hotels we have stayed at. Room was nice but the TV unfortunately kept cutting out. Really friendly and helpful staff, and a luxury feel.

My stay at Buxton Crescent Hotel was pleasant and relaxing. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my visit. Breakfast was delicious, well-organized, and offered a wonderful dining experience. The hospitality and attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the excellent service and would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. I look forward to visiting again!

A lovely hotel in the middle of Buxton. The restaurant lacks atmosphere due to severe lighting however, the food was good but expensive. The biggest problem is the lack of parking. The spa is not included in the daily rate.

As returning guests, it was lovely to be back at the hotel. The breakfast was beautiful, with a wonderful selection and a great start to the day. The staff were clearly stretched and perhaps a little too thin on the ground, but they were doing their very best under the circumstances, and their efforts were appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were pleased to return. With a little more support for the team, the experience could be even better. We hope to visit again in the future.

There is no parking at the hotel which is inconvenient. But that is the only negative. The room was wonderful dinner was delicious too. Breakfast was good. Would return, staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s a lovely hotel. Great setting. Staff are good. The only disappointment is that if you are on bed and breakfast basis you have to pay £25 per person daily to use the pool. This extra charge for the spa is understandable but the pool is surely part of the general facilities of the hotel.

Great hotel and spa with friendly, helpful staff and good amenities. Central location in a beautiful building, plenty of free on street parking nearby. Room was clean comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast had plenty of options and freshly made.

Our whole experience was wonderful, from check in to drinks in the cocktail bar to dinner and breakfast. Valet parking was a tad expensive but so convenient. We intend to return before Christmas - think it will be lovely.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely spa & location fabulous. Loved that the breakfast was made to order. Only issues we had were that we were there for the night before & directly after our wedding which they were told on 3 separate occasions, and they didn’t do anything special to commemorate/ celebrate it. Also the fire alarms went off multiple times including in the early hours of the night apparently due to some guests smoking in the rooms which was disruptive and inconvenient.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff all keen to help. However guests need to be aware before booking that since the take over by Champneys, the hotel is now charging extra for use of the spa facilities . This unfortunately lets the place down. Why would you stay at a spa hotel if you cant use the pool? The fact that this is not advertised openly in their web site can be distressing for the unsuspecting traveller. I saw this in action when a guest only found this out when, dressed in his gown he found his access card denied him access to the pool. Quite distressed he had to go to reception to pay more. Other than this the place is as you’d expect for a decent hotel.

Comfortable and clean room with an exceptional breakfast. Valet parking only which was pricey (£35 per night) although you might get lucky with street parking. Spacious crescent in front of the hotel which would be nice to use for blue badge drivers. Kevin at reception was very helpful when checking in and out.

To start with the building is amazing with a beautiful reception. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was easy to find. A large and clean room, a lovely bathroom with a big shower and a separate bath which was great. We used the spa too which was so clean and relaxing. Had a couple of gorgeous drinks in the bar and a lovely breakfast in the morning.
