“The room was pretty decent, and large, and the beds were comfortable, but otherwise the whole place was somewhat run down and not by well maintained, with a musty smell throughout, including in the room and bathroom. The place is just OK, at best. They were no staff there, and it was difficult to communicate with them via email, or text, or Expedia, and you may or may not get a reply. Check-in instructions were not adequate and if you show up early, the place, and the adjoining pub, is closed...

“Lovely stay , Kurt and Joanne made us feel welcome, we had a lovely meal in the Railway carriage , wouldn’t recommend the mixed grill if you’ve got a small appetite, would recommend and definitely stay here again”

“Great little pub in a wonderful countryside location. A nice stopping place for visiting Bristol or Bath and the surrounding areas. I had a lovely dinner here too. Highly recommend.”
