We had a great stay. Great location near the castle. I had picked this hotel because it had a/c but it was turned off for the season, so we had to sleep with the balcony door open. The room was clean but the carpet needs a cleaning. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay and our welcome bottle of wine amenity.

The room, breakfast area, and main floor bathrooms were super clean. The breakfast had some of the best selection, best fresh fruit, and coffee we have had in the last 6 hotels in Romania and Hungary. Service at the desk and at breakfast washrooms excellent. The water refill in the breakfast area was wonderful as we opted for fizzy ice cold water. The location is perfect to see all of the important sites within walking distance. Beer at the bar was expensive, but they had a promo on to soften the blow. The front desk was very informative, and accommodating, as we had to store bags for a few hours. Our room had a lovely balcony to the garden area that we had cocktails on. This hotel is a winner.

We arrived shortly after 10 in the morning to leave our luggage and were pleasantly surprised when we were told our room was ready. The room was spotless and very comfortable with air conditioning and a modern en suite bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked for advice and the small bar was pleasant for a night cap. The buffet Breakfast was excellent with plenty of staff to maintain the choices. The restaurants in the castle area gave us a lot of choices for dinner. This was a lovely boutique hotel in a great area near the castle and iron bridge and was by far the best of the 3 hotels we stayed in Budapest. I can highly recommend it.
