We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. His goal was to get us a room we liked. Everything was very clean and you can see they are making upgrades. The location is great, near restaurants, Costco and HEB. The beds were very comfortable! The environment is quiet, but a lot of light at night from outside. They could use nicer toilet paper. The included breakfast could be improved. More waffle makers and add yogurt. Otherwise a great stop when traveling.

All the amenities were "out of order" including pool, laundry, fitness room. The elevator was a mess with paper peeling off the walls and sounded like a roller coaster going down. The front door was taken apart at the top and one door didn't work. Christmas decor still up (it's May). Shower wouldn't drain and had sludge coming up. Room smelled like mildew and allergies flared up big time in there. Would NOT recommend. I have major sanitation and safety concerns and this place should be closed until repairs are done.

Rooms are very clean, though the toilet hadn't been flushed when I first entered. Quiet, and AC worked well. Breakfast area is small, prob because not much offered other than cereal and bread offerings. Coffee was OK from an automatic machine; though no sugar substitutes available. Heard it was recently placed under new management, so hopefully they make some improvements. Carpet is new, and some areas are remodeled, though you can tell from other areas that it's an older building. I didn't like water leak in the tub. Excellent price, for what you get.

Overall our stay was ok. Staff is very nice and friendly, ac working and room was clean. 4/5 stars, because the whole hotel had old/ humidity/ smoky smell everywhere (probably in the carpets) and looked ran down. Inside the room was ok and clean overall. Also breakfast was almost gone when we came (around 8:30am) the eggs and sausages were gone. Everything else was good: the location and the price very nice! Thank you.

Room was ok, got there v early in the morning. When the front desk person came out, never said anything while typing on the computer, awkward silence for like 5 minutes and then he looked at me and said: oh I have to login to check you in. Got the key and walked to elevator, nothing was super great but nothing was super bad either.

There were stains on several walls throughout the room, halls and lobby. A touch-up with paint or a soapy sponge would help. There were 2 small bugs in my bathtub when I arrived. And the complimentary breakfast wasn't special. The coffee machine broke, the orange juice was empty, then the apple juice was too. The staff was friendly but the facility needs upgrades, regular maintenance and some care.

We left after one night. One light didn’t work, 2 ports didn’t work, the bathtub was chipped, the bed was like sleeping on planks, the door was misaligned so it didn’t close automatically - we had to shove it closed, and once it was closed, the deadbolt didn’t work. The hotel prided itself of being smoke-free but you could smell the pot from the driveway and all through the hotel because the workers stood out in the back of the hotel and smoked. It was the worst hotel I’ve been in. Shame on you, Expedia, for doing business with these people.
