Highly recommended. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great view of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge from the room. Bed was soft and the water pressure in the shower was great. Had a wonderful stay.

The place is a great location with beautiful views and a nice walk down the waterfront. The rooms were nice. Ice machine on site had been broken since mid summer according to staff. That is a bummer since I need my one soda when I wake up! Nice restaurant just across the street which is a plus! I would stay here again.

Our room at the inn was fine, with a lovely view of the water. The walk along with water behind the inn is a delight. Unfortunately, we found the common areas are in bad need of a refresh… kind of a “yikes” as we walked into the check-in area and the hallways to get to our room. Again, the room itself was fine, bed was comfortable and linens were clean, but the bathroom was in need of updating, with the tub/shower stained. Conveniently located and a reasonable value for the area.

The location of this property is great! Right on a river walk on the Penobscot river. Direct views of Fort Knox my grandson loved. The building itself is dated and could use some grades. I’m not a fan of carpet in hotel rooms.

You can tell that this hotel was once a grand establishment in its prime. The room featured a beautiful four-poster bed and a wardrobe that housed a TV. However, the bathroom was quite small, and the overall decor felt dated, though still charming. If you are looking for a high-end, luxurious hotel, this isn't the place for you. But if you seek a quaint, comfortable spot with an exquisite view of the water and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, then you have found the right place! The view from our room was truly beautiful!

We LOVED our 4 day stay at Fort Knox Inn! Great location, Great Views, Friendly Staff, comfortable Beds, Great water pressure! We Loved visiting the Fort, The Bridge and walking path by the Inn on our down day. The Bathroom could use a vent, but older building so may not be doable. Not a deal breaker for us. Also, since there is no Continental Breakfast a Kurig Machine or other FREE coffee machine in the lobby in the mornings would be wonderful since the ones in the room are way too small. Or if staying here bring your own coffee machine :) . We would ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE AGAIN!
