I understand the property was recently purchased in January, and it does seem the new owner has been working hard to bring it back up to standard. Room was comfortable but the staff was non-existent. When we checked in there was a line of two other guests who had been standing there for 10 minutes. There was no staff in sight. There was a sign with a number to call but no one answered. Finally after about 10 minutes someone finally showed up but did not even offer an apology or explanation. The lady in the room next to us got locked out and could not find anyone in the office and could not reach anyone on the phone to help her get back into her room. We actually considered extending our stay for another night because it's a comfortable room in a good location but we could not find anyone in the office and couldn't get anyone on the phone so we went to another motel across the street.
