“We felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Good location, cheap parking nearby, decent breakfast to start your day. Keep in mind that the rooms are not air contained and not all windows can be opened. Ask for a fan of necessary.”

“This is an Honest Review of our stay October 2026. Upon arrival we found the main door was locked. There was a hand written note on the door saying the pub/restaurant was shut due to an electrical fault. Fair enough this is beyond the control of the hotel. A member of staff did let us in and told us our room was ready and not affected by the electrical fault. They showed us to our room and that was that. The Room was ok. The room was nothing special, it was clean and tidy with some general wear...

Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.”

“The room was tidy and clean but a little tired in places , possibly due to a busy season. Breakfast was excellent , food in the bar was very good and prices were competitive . The ambience in the bar was good. The quiz was good fun. Excellent nights sleep . Overall very good”
