The “lobby” is pretty sad. Very bleak. No furniture other than a single microwave sitting on a tiny table. No bell or anything to alert staff you’re waiting. We waited for ten minutes to check in before someone showed up. No “sorry, hope you weren’t waiting long,” or any acknowledgment at all about the inconvenience. The hallway to our room had the nastiest smell ever. I don’t even know what to compare it to but it made us want to throw up every time we walked through. The bedroom itself was fine and clean. Fine place for a quick stopover night.

Needed a last minute spot for the family to stay after a soccer game. Was solicited on the way. Desk has protective glass around it and I was high just from standing in the lobby for 5 minutes.

Clean bathroom. Check in was quick. Entrance door to hallway loudly squeaked. Kept us up all night. Asked for a quiet room. We were too close to squeaky door. Coffee should be 24/7. We were on a non smoking floor but could smell the smokers from the floor above.

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to be honest so future guests can make an informed decision. The front desk staff was kind and as helpful as they could be, and I appreciate their professionalism. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was not what we expected. Our room did not feel very clean, and the overall condition of the property left us uncomfortable. The surrounding area also felt unsafe, especially at night. There were several people lingering outside, and traveling alone in a small group, we did not feel comfortable coming and going after dark. While I understand the hotel cannot control the neighborhood, I think it’s important for other travelers, especially solo female travelers or groups of young women, to be aware of this before booking. We only stayed because we had already paid for the room and had very limited options after arriving. I hope management can make improvements to the cleanliness of the property, but I also hope this review helps others decide whether this hotel is the right fit for their trip.
